Jessie Lea RV Park & Campground

Jessie Lea RV Park is a gem! The sweetest young lady runs it, it is a generational endeavor! It is on the smallish side, but easily accommodated our 45 ft RV and large pickup truck. They are full hookup, there is a nice clean laundry on-site. The restrooms and showers are immaculate, and everywhere you look are eclectic homey touches. The large covered pavilion has rocking chairs all around, ceiling fans, antiques, picnic tables, great for family game night or conversation. The views are fantastic, flowers and gorgeous trees all throughout the grounds, which is kept neatly mowed and weeded. Stroll down the hill a bit, and there is a beautiful small river with current, the sign said that it gets stocked with trout. There is a little footbridge across, and then you can walk either way to go

This is a beautiful campground. Staff treated us exceptionally well. We were able to pick our campsite upon arrival. They have taken the time to make the place beautiful and provide campers with well maintained ammenities such as shower rooms and laundry facilities.

A great RV park & Campground with plenty of access. Many pull through sites. Grass between each site. Fire pits and picnic tables at each site. Very nice owner, very friendly. The bath house was clean and decorated very nice. Looks like it has been freshly painted. A wonderful covered pavilion with lots of tables and gas grills. They even had season firewood available for a couple dollars. They even have a draw bridge to walk across the powell river to access the Big Stone Gap town's walking trail. It is truly a hidden gem.

We stayed her for 1 night since we were just passing through but wished we had more time. The campground is on the smaller side but very relaxing and accommodating. It was VERY clean, especially the bathrooms. Jessie was very nice and so were the guests that were staying there. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we are ever in the area.

Jessica is a fantastic hostess!! She immediately makes you feel welcome. The campground is neat and orderly. The bathroom/ showerhouse was exceptionally clean. It's evident that she truly cares about the experience of those camping with her. When passing through this way again, we'll definitely stay here!
