Jeb & Margaret's Trailer Haven

It's a trailer park with all the drama and capriciousness of one. Yet, the location is better than most. Great location on the water close to the communities of Sandpoint, Hope, and Ponderay. Good rec center and cheap laundromat on site. Two showers are also available. Seasonal residents are mostly friendly and helpful. YES, there are many trains all day long. But this is normal for almost any spot in the area. My husband and I love them. There are plenty of spots for putting in boats. Restaurants aren't too far away.

We love this hidden gem and are happy to be part of the community. The people are friendly and the grounds are beautiful.

I should give it one star and say only bad things so it keeps everyone away from this best kept secret in north Idaho. From the boat docks to fire pit to lake access to laundry facilities to the amazing management and staff this place has it all.

The location was nice. Except the Train that goes by all night long. Place has a lot of rules some posted some not. They don’t care for you to bring children. And if you do they will charge you for them. Not very family friendly. Also no dogs at all. Your children are not allowed to take out the trash, again so many rules. They do offer showers but they prefer you to use your own (as stated in their rule book). Do not use the boat launch. Lady in the office about had a coronary when I pulled half way down the boat lunch to unload my kayaks. Sorta of embarrassing for me. I was never told nor was that rule posted. I just didn’t get that laid back feel from the place. I felt like I was walking on eggshells not knowing what rule I might break next. You will however find a lot of nice Canadians
