JC Stage Stop Resort

We were pleasantly surprised, excellent location off the highway. The attention to detail and the little extras were lovely especially in the washroom. Waking up to the view of the hills and horses running in the fields was stunning. Strongly recommend, especially for piece and quiet.

JC Stage Stop is a GREAT getaway. Good location, easy to find. Friendly folks and fine hospitality. Even for someone like us, who have visited the area many times, it was a relaxing, fun time. The cabins are excellent, clean and bathrooms and showers the same. Highly recommend.

JC Stage Stop has it figured out! What an awesome, quiet get away! Bring your camper or stay in the bunkhouse! Small enough that you don't have to fight any kind of crowds like you see at a KOA. Love that they had a playground area for the kids, and the gas firepit makes S'mores even easier! Everything was clean & well kept on top of that - 100% recommend!

What a fantastic and comfortable home base for exploring the Black Hills area and beyond. Owners Steven and Liz are amazing hosts. We stayed in The Bunkhouse. It was clean, quiet, and such a great space to rest after hiking and sightseeing. The resort is on a beautiful site and we had an amazing sunset every night. We were in close proximity to Sturgis, Deadwood, Devils Tower and so much more. Could have spent several more days exploring. Hope to come back again!

My daughter and I stayed last November when we were on our way to pick up a horse and I was immediately impressed with the beautiful location! The views were amazing! The resort was incredibly clean and well taken care of. The hosts were very friendly and willing to help make our stay as wonderful as possible. The horse part of the campground was great - and my family and I are making plans to go back soon...this time with horses!
