Customer Reviews
From the moment we walked in the door we felt a wonderful atmosphere of this beautiful building and experienced great customer service. To learn the history of this building was very interesting. The hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Totally impressed with the complimentary breakfast. Hotel staff frequently checked to be sure we had all we needed. Truly an experience to remember. There are only 2 things I would mention - being an older couple the lighting in the room was a little dark for us, and the train passing at various times did allow for noise to be heard. We would stay at this location again.
We spent one night at this hotel just to visit the DAK light show. What a great find! Totally impressed with the fact this hotel in the 1920's was a grocery warehouse, that in 2015 was remodeled into a hotel. Everything about this hotel was elevated in design and the intergrity of the warehouse floors, and ceilings could be seen throughout.||Front desk staff were very pleasant, our room very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellant! ||The only things I would comment on are - we are senior adults and better lighting in the bedroom area would have been nice for us, and there is a train track beside the hotel - which is very noticable of the night..
Loved this hotel. The staff was terrific. They were friendly and took pride in their jobs. The room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast environment was relaxing and clean. Overall I was impressed and I plan on coming back.
A true gem, this immaculately restored historic property is not just a treat for the eyes but immaculate. Large double room had crisp white sheets and comfortable pillows, with double sinks in a foyer like area back to back. The tub was so clean my friend took a bubble bath! Twin chiffarobes, leather chair and large desk. The “continental” breakfast included eggs, sausage and biscuits along with fruit, pastry and the usual. I did more than enjoy my stay. I took plenty of photos and notes for interior decorating!
Cute little hotel in a small town. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional! Loved the indoor look of old warehouse. Can see exposed brick and ceiling beams. Thin walls, but very cute. Mattresses need updating, they have little support and seem outdated. Very cute across from town park that was beautifully decorated with lights for the holidays. Also next to the park are train tracks, beware, trains go through multiple times a night, depending on the night. First few times it startled us, but then we grew accustomed to it on our two night stay.
