Island View Resort

Rented Cabin #4, a two bedroom, as backup during a family reunion. We had a blast! The location cannot be beat. It's across a very quiet street from the bay, docks, fishing, and the kids swam right there. There's also a playground on the block in the city park for the kiddos. Cabin fully outfitted including sleep number beds, cable tv and wi-fi! The only thing we had to bring were towels, beer and groceries. Tim, the owner (I think) was amazing. Right there to answer any questions and as friendly as can be. I can't recommend this little resort highly enough. In addition to the cabins, they also rent pontoons and fishing boats/motors.

We had a great experience renting a pontoon from Tim. He worked with our schedule on the day of our rental and provided us with a boat that worked flawlessly. The rental rate was very competitive and had no hidden fees.

We booked a one bedroom cabin for a week. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely equipped and the bathroom was bigger than I expected. Located on Mille Lac, the resort has a nice bay. We rented a pontoon boat and it was top notch. Fish cleaning house was also the cleanest I have seen. The owners Tim and Lynn are both very pleasant. We plan on booking again for next summer.

My family and I have been staying at this resort for 15+ years and we keep coming back because it is a warm and welcoming environment. Tim is terrific to work with! We’ve stayed in each of the cabins more than once and have rented the pontoons on multiple occasions. If you’re looking for a quiet place to bring your family with terrific lake views and a variety lake activities, this is the place! Would recommend over and over!

Working with Tim was awesome. I don't think there could have been a bad experience with this guy. I didn't stay at the site, but I think I will next time. I rented a pontoon on a random visit to mille lacs with my son. And he shared his experience and knowledge of the area to me just to point some small things out. This will prove very beneficial as the area is somewhat shallow and best to avoid taking the lower unit out. We caught lots of walleyes and my son caught his first walleye and it was within slot. And we didn't have to leave too far out to get out first bite.
