Island Bay Resort

An excellent destination to stay! We stayed three nights while starting the new year in Key Largo and were very happy with the experience. The whole property is well configured, clean, and functional. Everything seemed very new and well maintained. The check in process was very easy and smooth, and we appreciated how well equipped both the cottage was, as well as the private beach area. Being able to bring our own food and cook or do a grill out was simply perfect, and we really enjoyed the opportunity for kayaking. If I had only one minor criticism, it was that the housekeeping service seemed to be performed very late in the day (~4pm on one day) - which also seemed odd given there are not many cottages and the daily service is fairly minimal. Still, this wasn't enough to give less than 5

Fantastic location right on the water with a beach and jetty. Everything here was clean and very well kept. The beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, covered areas , and corn hole were all in very good condition. The room was well laid out and quite spacious. We did choose one of the larger rooms though. We would very much come back and stay if we are ever in the keys again. The management and staff are friendly and very approachable. They will happily recommend restaurants for what you are considering for dinner. |This really is a great little hotel that is very well kept.

This place is fabulous. Great private beach with easy access to Key Largo and Islamorada. The traffic was crazy heavy at New Year’s so I was happy to be at that area. Key Largo was not heavy traffic and really convenient for Publix, the library, and a fruit stand we frequented. The number 6 cottage -Sunset was perfect. The place is well maintained and beautiful. Watch your email or messages on arrival day because you need a code to get in the gate. I was driving and missed both and had no idea what to do. My fault.

We found this place from Southwest Airlines vacations. It's a hidden away place near Key Largo. The property is relatively small but has a very personal touch to it. The dock/bay is beautiful with lots of options for taking a quick kayak trip. The cottages are a little small, but we did not spend too much time in the room anyway. Overall it was a fantastic and peaceful getaway that we loved and would go back to.

Loved Island Bay Resort. Very intimate with only 10 units. Beautiful surroundings and kept perfectly clean. Private beach area is convenient and right out the door of the property. This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed that had a sandy beach. We will definitely recommend to others.
