Interstellar Joshua Tree

There is no place better than Interstellar if you want to gaze at the night sky, and be one with nature. It was like my wife and I had beamed to another planet to escape earth for a few days. We even nicknamed the property as Tranquility Base for fun! Surrounded by panoramic desert and majestic mountains, the sunrises and sunsets were visually stunning. We loved soaking in the pristine hot tub, watching the sun rise over the surrounding Joshua Trees all around us. Our amenable and wonderful host, Kevan, even has an outdoor bed (a large tarpaulin firmly suspended between four huge wooden posts) for star gazing. We enjoyed several shooting stars nightly! This beautiful home is equipped with everything you need for your interplanetary visit. It was clean, spacious, and well decorated.

Our family is still talking about our Interstellar experience: sitting outside with morning coffee and hearing complete silence, cooking in the state of the art kitchen, reading while looking through walls of glass at the vast desert, sleeping on luxurious beds. Kevan is an attentive host who is the perfect resource for desert activities (from stars gazing to ATV adventures). After days of hiking, gathering in the stunning great room was an amazing setting for conversation and relaxation. We will be back to this stunning home.

Spent the perfect getaway weekend at Interstellar Joshua Tree and highly recommend booking a stay with them! Not only is the place itself beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you could need and more, but the 360 views are unmatched. Must do's include: stargazing from the hot tub, morning coffee on the hanging patio chairs, and exploring Boulder Gardens (a quick 10 min drive away!). Kev turns the stay into an experience in itself, and has truly made the place special 🍄 Looking forward to coming back!

I had a 💫stellar💫 stay! The place was even more magical than it looked in the pictures. You can tell the owner is very thoughtful and detail oriented. The guide he provided gave us so many activities to do that we enjoyed & made us excited to come back and keep exploring. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, this place is set up perfectly to give you the opportunity to see the stars, mountains, and nature without having to sacrifice luxury. Gorgeous, clean bathrooms. Beds were soft and sheets clean and comfy. Kitchen was gorgeous & cooking was great here. It felt like the kind of place you see celebrities stay at it was so fancy. Close to some really special places. The owner was also really communicative and obviously passionate about the place. I cannot recommend this place enough, seriously.

Interstellar is undoubtedly one of the coolest houses I've ever stayed in. If you are looking for privacy, peace and quiet, and amazing views, this is definitely the place for you. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The location is great and just a short drive into town with some really cool restaurants. We loved the outdoor space and the hot tub! It was the perfect therapy after a day of hiking. You can hike right from the property. We found a really a nice trail with tons of rock formations... perfect for exploring. We even found some hieroglyphs on the rocks! The house itself was modern, beautiful, high end finishes and had amazing art throughout the entire place. Communication from Kevan was great from start to finish. I cannot recommend this property enough! Thanks so mu
