Interstate Campground

This is not a hotel. This is a campground. The host met us as we pulled in . Very kind helpful man shook our hand introduced himself and had someone move their car so it was easier for us to back in. It was quite we only stayed one night.we did not here the interstate.would I come back here again yes I would. Prices were very reasonable.infact loved the price. Very convenient on and off the interstate.

There was an issue with the 30 amp outlet at the site we were assigned to. We went and got someone form the office. They brought an electrical tester and tried telling us that our sure protector was going bad, They were very snippy and rude, and then they just left and went back to the office. We took our surge protector and plugged it into several other outlets throughout the park with no issues. Fearing that the defective outlet would damage our camper we asked to be moved to another site. They moved us to a different site which had a good outlet. The campsites are so close together in this park that the sewer to the site next to us was about 3 feet from our front door and picnic table. The owner was super nice. He let us pitch our tent right near the bathhouse. It was a little noisy but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were stopping through the area and my three year old had to go pee. We were considering this location but said no after the owner told us we couldn’t use the bathroom. I’m not sure if it was a race thing or he was just a jerk but my daughter almost had an accident because she couldn’t use the bathroom. This was the owner Who doesn’t let a three year old use a bathroom??

Kittie does an amazing job making the guest feel welcome. She is a very friendly lady and is very pleasant to talk to. The store has a convenient selection of nessesities. Genuinely good people all the way around. Showers have good hot water and washer and dryer work great.
