Innkeeper was friendly, helpful, and served up an awesome dish of parmesan mushroom baked eggs for breakfast. Service was good. Location was perfect for my agenda. Dining room and building in general were good representatives of the 1920s-1930s arts and crafts style. The biggest negative was musty old smell from carpet on the stairs and, to a lesser degree in my room. Bed was comfortable and all of the facilities were in good order. The large, thick towels were a really nice touch. This was a really pleasant stay and felt more like a BnB than a hotel.

Pam and her crew make all the difference in a small, charming town with many choices. She is knowledgeable about the city and her establishment, having studied the history thoroughly. Pam and her lovely dog are welcoming, offering a host of amenities. Breakfast has been amazing, the river view is lovely, and the room is clean and comfy. The only thing I would do differently is to choose a larger room, which is totally on me. By the way, I love sleeping in a dark cave of a bedroom. This room wasn’t totally pitch black, but the blinds fit the windows well and the light was minimal. |It’s been a lovely anniversary weekend. We will be back!

Amazing staff and stay! The room was very cute and clean. The location is the best being directly on the river and walking distance to everything in town. The homemade breakfast every morning was amazing. So convenient that there is a restaurant and bar on site that makes great cocktails. Owner and staff were very accommodating to request and needs. Looking forward to returning.

This hotel experience was like slipping back into time when life was simpler and quieter. We stayed in a room with a king size bed that was so comfortable and beautiful. The views of the River are beautiful and tranquil with ducks and geese swimming and playing in the water. The hotel has all the character you expect of a home built in 1919. The owners were extremely accommodating loaning us a USB power brick to charge our phones in the room. There are all kinds of fun games inside and outdoors as well as puzzles and books. And finally, the room includes a gourmet breakfast that would easily be $20 or more per person. The owner, who is also a chef prepared Parmesan, asparagus, bourbon maple bacon egg bake along with whipped cream cheese toast served with a black berry jelly compo

Everything as advertised. The Inn is perfectly located on and has access to the river. Walk through the old town, across the river and back through Heritage Park. Beautiful scenery. Pamela was there to greet us and is a great host. The room was clean and as expected. Wifi a bit slow but that may have been because we were at the end of the corridor. Snyder's Tavern does some good food and is conveniently on the grounds, but you have lots of choices easily within walking distance if you look around.
