Inn At Occidental

We stayed in the summer room which has a hilarious painting of mermaids. The room is sunny and has a deck. Breakfast was delicious. We were not there for wine and music and will be sure to stay for that next time. The location is great - you can walk to the little town, Western Hills garden is a 5 minute drive (don't try to walk!) and Osmosis is about 7 minute away. Room has a massive bathtub!!

Great location and breakfast.

We recently stayed a night and loved it! Bed and linens were super comfy, The room was very clean, and the Innkeepers were very kind and welcoming, even when we arrived later than expected. The breakfast was generous, tasty and home made. Still dreaming about the local yogurt and granola! I highly recommend this place to stay.

This place was fantastic! My girlfriend and I spent New Years Eve at the Inn at Occidental and loved our stay. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We spent our evening at the wine bar in the lobby, which was a lot of fun. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed conversing with the staff throughout our time at the inn. We would both highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Sonoma County.

Our room was lovely, with an intriguing circus decor. All of our Wi-Fi connections worked fine. The landlady very kindly carted luggage up and down the stairs, and also the very tasty breakfasts. She made several suggestions on places for us to visit. |I do feel obligated to mention that hiking up the stairs after dinner was a challenge. The room did have a flashlight, but carrying a flashlight along with a purse and cane was a challenge. There was a tube that evidently held reflective disks which worked in the morning light, but did nothing at 10:00 p.m.
