Inn At Moss Landing Point

I don't normally write reviews - but this hotel was AMAZING. Not only was the service incredible - personable and friendly - but the hotel itself is really nice. The bathrooms and rooms are spacious. We did not find the location loud at all, but for those that might, earplugs are provided. We had two rooms - my teens had a room and we had another. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. We walked to a great thai restaurant for dinner and a delicious local cafe for breakfast - both steps away. We also drove minutes (you could also bike or walk) to the beach where there are sea otters, seals, sea lions, pelicans - the wildlife is incredible. We stopped in Moss Landing to kayak in the Elkhorn Slough on the way back from Monterey up to San Francisco and I'm so glad we did. Don't miss out on

The Inn at Moss Landing Point was an incredible experience. The front desk staff were so accommodating and the housekeeping staff were attentive to our needs and responded quickly. Our room at the Inn was large and amazingly quiet due to the design of not having a common wall between rooms. We never knew if the adjacent rooms were rented or not for lack of noise we get in other establishments. The Inn is upscale and elegant, the decor and art is what you would expect in a coastal environment and made our stay enjoyable. The Inn is a short walk to restaurants, harbor and beach. We will definitely return for a stay on our next trip to the Central Coast to visit family. Stayed here for a business trip and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The cleanliness was impeccable, both in the room and throughout all public spaces. Toiletries were high-quality, and the attention to detail was obvious. The two staff members we met were incredibly kind and helpful. They made the whole experience feel welcoming rather than transactional. Amenities were surprisingly thoughtful: they have a small convenience store, a self-serve station with coffee, hot cocoa, and a microwave, and an evening popcorn service (yes, really). They text you around 8 PM offering to bring fresh popcorn to your room in reusable containers. The gift shop is also worth checking out. Stayed here for one night in February 2026 and would come back in a heartbeat! Great value, and this is the cleanest lodging we've ever seen; our room literally looked like it had never been inhabited before. Very comfortable bed, a great shower, upscale toiletries, and a nicely decorated room. Thoughtful items are available in the lobby either free or for purchase. The people were super nice, friendly, and helpful. Our room was on the highway side of the property, so there was a little noise from that, but not enough to keep us from sleeping soundly. Went to captain inn rooms looked nice on pics. But ended up not checking because it’s a two story home with thin walls rooms are rented individually can hear everything going on inside that house. Then ended up at the Inn great prices along with customer service. Very clean property. Rooms are spacious and cozy. Love the pop corn nights. very nice hotel right along highway 1 dining near by. Would definitely recommend this place. They also accommodated me with parking for my rig.
