Inn At LBI National

Very strange experience -- I guess because it was offseason. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel restaurant on Saturday night after we checked in. When we tried to make a reservation for Sunday brunch, we learned the restaurant would be closed until Thursday! The promised golf course views were views of the parking lot. The way the building is situated, you have virtually no privacy because people walk right by the windows. Because this was marketed as a "resort," we figured there would be a pool, a fitness center, and maybe a spa, but nothing -- only a golf course, pro shop, and intermittently open restaurant. We also thought this was on Long Beach Island, but it's inland, kind of in the middle of nowhere. And the WiFi didn't work. But the rooms were beautifully appointed and very spac

Went there for a family wedding. The Venue was really nice. Nicely decorated. The food and service was good. I would highly recommend it for a wedding. But as for the Inn where we stayed for the night, we had to pay an additional $100 by credit card for coverage in case we did any damage to the room or ate or drank anything from the mini bar in the room. We were never told this at the time we reserved the room. They have a shower in a bathtub which has low water pressure and you have to be careful not to fall in the tub because the shower liner is so long and loose in the tub that you can trip on it. Also you had to park by the Inn and then walk across the parking lot to sign in for your room at the Venue. The Inn has no sign in area which I didn't like.

I stayed at the Inn for a corporate event. Clean, comfortable beds. Great food and service during the event. Nice place. I didn't play, golf, but my friends who did said the course was nice.

We booked this hotel for one night through Hotels.com, but were never informed that late check-in was unavailable after 11:30 pm. Our flight was delayed, and made it to the hotel at 3am. Upon reaching the hotel we found all doors closed and no one at the front desk. Despite repeatedly calling and waiting outside in the cold for over 30 minutes, no staff member appeared. Eventually, someone (not a receptionist) came out and, after some confusion and wandering around, managed to locate the keys so we could access our room. That said, once inside, the room itself was excellent and the facilities are beautiful. It’s just unfortunate that no one contacted us in advance about the late check-in policy, which would have saved a lot of stress on arrival.

We weren’t sure what to expect. This particular area is not known for resort-like properties. We went to the Inn first and saw signs to the lighthouse where we checked in. The check in process was fast and efficient. We were very surprised that our room was comfortable,with very nice amenities. There was a wet bar with enough room to store any bottles that you may bring with you. There is wine and beer and snacks for purchase. We had a small problem getting TV reception, but Olivia came over and solved the problem quickly. The entire room looked brand new. The bed was comfy. The bathroom had anything you would need. There is a good restaurant on site as well.||We’ve stayed at Airbnb’s in the area in the past. This is the only place to stay in our opinion. We will be back.
