At about 1,800 feet up along the Talimena Scenic Drive, Pinnacle Overlook offers sweeping views of the Ouachita ridges and a refreshingly minimalist service package: scenery, wind, and absolutely nothing else. No gas station, no vending machines, no cheerful convenience store clerk asking if you want ice with that drink. Just you, your vehicle, and the growing realization that the nearest Coke is probably miles away. The view itself is worth the stop. Beautiful cabin and VERY REMOTE. Even Google maps couldn't find this place but very quiet and a clear view of the night sky. Couldn't even hear neighboring cabins. Highly recommend.

This was our first trip to Oklahoma and it did not disappoint! The drive up to the cabin was breathtaking! The cabin was immaculate and had everything you could need! We even brought extra essentials to find out that the host, Billy, was well prepared. Unfortunately we had lots of rain and fog, so we couldn't see the sunrises and sometimes couldn't see the view. But the fog made everything beautiful in it's own way! The changing leaves were spectacular! The absolute quite was precisely what we wanted. The bed was so comfy and I need to find out what sheets were on that bed...so soft! We have already made plans to return!

We loved our time at the Oasis Cabin. Lovely home with wonderful views!
