IHG Army Hotels Main Lodge

The staff was friendly. The room was large and bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Could have used some updates and we only had 1 bath towel provided. There's not daily maid service. Toilet was hard to flush and bathroom sink would spray you every time you turn it on. Mirror was dirty. Had a small kitchenette, but no dishes or utensils to use. The breakfast was not great, biscuits were very hard, omelettes burned brown, and not much selection on cold items. It was quiet in the room (except for morning reveille which is quite loud) We stayed in the building that looked like barracks not the main building where you check in. I would say it's adequate.

Today before I check out, I encountered bugs that look like bed bugs in my room I noticed front desk and Melinda told me it looked like a spider. Additionally, I received a voice message stating that they intended to charge me for having my service dog because housekeeping found puppy food in the room. My dog is 8 months old, and service dogs can begin training at 6 months, so the presence of puppy food should not warrant an additional fee.||Furthermore, upon checking in, I experienced several maintenance issues: a leak that required two calls before being fixed, a malfunctioning stove, and a clogged bathroom.||I am also being charged for an accident that resulted in a dirty bed sheet. Room is good, but workers not keeping up of everything ,for example all the trash around the facility are full. It’s been four days and trash not been change ,broken ice maker ,the one available downstair is empty.

Utilized this location as a base of operation for apartment hunting. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I were not on a budget, I would have stayed even longer. I was there for about 20 days.

I had an excellent experience with the staff (Maritza in particular). They willingly made several accommodations and displayed wonderful hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable; I could not have asked for a better stay.
