IHG Army Hotels Building 719

I really enjoyed staying here. Rooms and service were impeccable. Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. It was very convenient for work at TAMC. Make sure you know to check in at BLDG 228 at TAMC first - this way you are not surprised when you arrive, as there is no full-time front desk at BLDG 719 on Fort Shafter.

The rooms are very clean & comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the location and scenery. I do want to suggest that the check-in at TMAC could be better clarified. We did not know TMAC. Having the actual hotel room address below it, caused us to search around for someone to explain to us that we needed to go off base to a completely different location to check in and get the keys. We had a rental car so it worked out fine for us. Once we worked that situation out, everything was fine.

Quaint little DV quarters tucked away on Fort Shafter. Nice breakfast nook and very handy to the installation. Be sure to check in at the IHG Lodging building at Tripler Army Medical Center first, though!

I was fortunate to stay at Fort Shafter lodging for the second time. The entire experience did not disappoint. The location on the base is quiet, clean, and extremely well-managed! My conversations with customer service before arrival were flawless. I first spoke with Aloha and she was helpful, friendly, and gave useful guidance on arrival procedures. Upon arrival, I met Christina and she was so kind and accommodating! She is an amazing Hawaiian woman who embodies the Aloha spirit. It made such a difference! During my stay at Bldg. 719, Lynn and Emmy were the onsite staff. Lynn made amazing breakfasts and great coffee. Emmy was kind and helpful as well. I truly enjoyed the experience once again. It felt like coming home when I saw the same people working at Tripler and Ft. Shafter! Me Ke

The experience of living on a military base was better than expected. The breakfast was nice and and the service was great. The bathrooms were big and clean with big towels. They made sure that we was comfortable and relaxed and i was surprised of the room was as big as they were. Thanks for everything.
