Icon Residences by SS Vacation Rentals

This place was FANTASTIC. Keeping in mind I come from the Space Coast (and am inexperienced with cities), this was a breathtaking experience. The Good: - This place is structurally built very well. Very clearly no corner cutting or cheaping out on the furniture or appliances. - The view is undeniably sensational. Day, Night - Doesn't matter, I could spend my whole vacation on this balcony. - The customer service was very responsive! We ran into a couple speed bumps, and the rental agency was quick to help us out. The Bad: - Parking sucks. We parked in a parking garage a few blocks away, but a 25 minute walk to get to the car is a huge bummer. Maybe that's more common in cities than I'm used to, but it definitely took away from the experience for me. - Check-in was a painful experience.

Elevators maintenance causing 10-15min delays and horrible looking lobby that they causally did not mention in the booking. Requested late check-out from 10 to 12 and they required a $50 fee (almost every Airbnb and hotel has granted this to me). Only one key fob given to use the elevator and when my wife got stuck the lobby personnel did not try to help her despite initial security pictures taken in the beginning. Gym/pool was best part tbh

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. After just one day, the elevators broke down, forcing us to wait for two hours to get inside. I understand that issues can arise, but the behavior of the security guards was the most frustrating part. One guard, in a blue shirt, was particularly rude,he yelled at my friend while she was on a call, instead of addressing her politely about moving from the curb. Additionally, another guard seemed biased, allowing people he recognized to bypass the line without checking. Overall, the management has been inadequate.

6 lifts 4 out of action. Only stay if you’re happy to wait literally 25 minutes to get to your room! Apparently it’s been like this for months.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this where the 17 yo got murdered by a lunatic. Poor guy got stabbed while he was sleeping then pushed and fell down from the 47th floor. More than a 100 feets. (May peace be with him.) This was 4 months ago. Be careful y'all.
