Hyde-Out Motel

We stayed in one of their trailers not room. But it was much nicer than expected and the price was great. $165 a night for a 3 bedroom trailer that sleeps at least 6, you can't beat that. Don't misunderstand it wasn't a brand new trailer. It was an older one remodeled but it was nice. I will go back and stay again for a weekend getaway of fishing for sure. The highly recommended eating place next door wasn't so good though I will say. DO NOT get steak or shrimp.

Owners are wonderful and start was fine. Not a fancy place by any means, but appeared clean. However, the next day after leaving I found dozens of tiny red itchy inflamed bites all over my body. They are definitely not mosquito bites. I'm scared that I might have brought bed bugs back to my house after our travels ( upon arrival home I immediate washed EVERYTHING we took so fingers crossed that we don't have an infestation). Additionally, our room has some damages to the shower tiles and bathroom door. I wish I could give this place a higher rating; like I said, the owners were really nice.

We've stayed here on several fishing trips. We only stayed there during night time hours as we were enjoying the great outdoors during the day. A couple of miles from Lake Mattamuskeet. It's not for everyone. If you're looking for fancy don't stay here. It does offer a good nights rest, cold air conditioner, Satellite TV, fridge and microwave. The local owners are friendly and very good about giving directions.. $65 a night during the summer. Located in walking distance from a steakhouse.

Great spot to stay if you are in town hunting or fishing. Room was clean and AC worked great! Direct TV was an added bonus and Harris Steak and Seafood restaurant next door is phenomenal. Will def be back to stay.

The location on the map is wrong its actually located where Harris seafood is. Anyhow the motel is basic. Our room had three beds and a bathroom. It was clean and tidy. We were on a hunting trip so we just wanted somewhere warm, dry, and clean to sleep. $75 a night plus tax which came out to be $83. Like i said its just a basic motel room. Somewhere to stay and rest up. I would definitely stay here again if I come back hunting. Oh and they have satellite tv which was nice.
