Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area

The rooms were nice and clean. The service was nice. Not all the fitness center equipment was working but that happens at normal gyms too so no big deal. The free breakfast was great and the staff was super nice. The location was super close the the event I was going to and they offered free shuttles from 4pm to 1 am. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here on 2/28 for a concert at Mohegan Sun. Other then the location close to Mohegan the hotel come up no better then a motel 6. Check in is 4pm. Show up at 4 and there are about 30 people in line waiting to check in and more people in the lobby waiting for rooms that aren’t ready yet. Sometime around 5 we finally got our room. The room its self is just a room. Noting nice or fancy like other chains. When you see Hyatt of Mohegan Sun you are thinking high end. Definitely not. And when you get from the concert, the whole Parking lot is full and no parking spots left. Not a great experience and will choose other hotels in the area over the Hyatt.

Great place to stay for New Years Eve! Room was comfy and large with a separate seating area. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to Mohegan Sun is very convenient and quick. Good choices for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is doing the best it can given what appears to be constant foot traffic from casino guests. This property feels like an extension of the casino. Pros: Rooms are very clean, spacious, and smell fresh. The area feels safe, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: The hotel and hallways smell strongly of cigarettes, perfume, and cologne. Cigarette smoke continuously drifts into the lobby and breakfast area. Trash cans inside and outside were overflowing. The parking lot was completely iced over, not salted, and very slippery, creating a slip-and-fall risk. Breakfast is standard continental fare (powdered eggs, sausage, yogurt, bread, fruit, coffee). Expect to smell cigarette smoke while eating. Overall, staff are clearly doing their best despite heavy traffic. I would not ch

Positive: The breakfast options were nice. Negative: The hotel smelled horrible of marijuana the entire time we were there. Due to people smoking right outside of the room, it made it very difficult to get any sleep. The grounds were also extremely dirty with litter.
