Hyatt Place South Bend/Mishawaka

The only negative thing I experienced was a noisy maintenance room next door. I was here for business training for the week. It made it difficult to concentrate on training materials and sleep. Everything else was great! Customer service is top notch, cleanliness is good. The iron was blackened when I arrived, thank goodness I brought my own. A good value for the money. A microwave in room, for those that are staying extended time, would be nice.

I stay in hotels weekly for business, and given the location and brand expectations, I anticipated a much better experience. Unfortunately, this property is in serious need of maintenance and overall attention. The rooms are extremely outdated, with cracked walls, visible holes, and areas in clear disrepair. There were no smart TVs available, which is below what most business travelers expect today. When I needed assistance, there was no one at the front desk, and the property felt understaffed and poorly managed. Elevator 1 was out of service, and the only working elevator had a strong smoke odor. Most concerning, when I turned on the shower, rusty water ran for at least two full minutes. Guest Services were very kind and accommodating. The free breakfast was more than adequate with nice dining spaces. The rooms are very roomy and clean. We had a good 2 day stay!

What a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience! First off your rooms are outdated and dirty. I get being an older hotel ok fine but at least dust the sh*t! Also if I wanted to smoke a cigarette I would just smoke my own! Amanda I think her name was smelt like a damn ashtray. Like get some Febreeze or something sweetie.
