Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Farmington/Station Park

I was generally pleased with my stay here. The room was clean and quiet. I enjoyed the complimentary cookie. The breakfast was good, I was able to have a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon, and fruit with a good coffee. My only complaint was that they didn't provide coffee and hot water in the lobby in the evening. I think I will be billed for the coffee I received from the hostess. I think about every hotel I've ever stayed at provided complimentary coffee, even roach hotels that didn't provide breakfast. They have a place to put the carafes so it would be a simple matter to provide this basic hotel staple.

The bed was awful, the manager said they have recently updated the mattresses, but it was the most uncomfortable sleep I've had in the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at over the past year and I'm an Explorist with Hyatt, Titanium with Marriott and Diamond with Hilton, so as you can tell I get a chance to see what a good mattress is all about, it's that bad. In my years I've never complained about a bed, until now. Also, the internet was very spotty, speeds were slow on my iPad pro, Samsung fold 7 and iPhone 17 pro, it wasn't my devices, it's their service. Was told speeds are 90mbps, I was getting a third of that while running my speed test app on my devices. Shopping and dining choices are magnificent! Everything in the room was great. Wish there had been a microwave though. Daily housekeeping was very helpful! Room was very clean and nice except for lime buildup in shower between most of the tiles. Hotel and room and breakfast area and waiting areas and pool were all very clean and smelled fresh! All staff was very polite and super helpful. It’s so appreciated by me and my family! The floor plan is a little crazy. One elevator from parking lot to front desk and then you must take another up to rooms and a third elevator WITH a room key required in order to get to the pool area. It was all quite odd. That’s really my only complaint

Stayed here for a few days while in business. Not only is this location conveniently located in a shopping center but the rooms are nice and the service was wonderful. Everyone from check in to checkout were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I enjoyed walking the shopping center with the view of the mountains as a backdrop. The hotel offers food but if you want alternatives, there’s plenty in walking distance. A quick ride from SLC, I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better stay.

Recently stayed here (11/14/2025-11/15/2025). While the hotel is good and centrally located to shops, great dining, and other fun amenities, the staff are not well versed and/or confident in what to do in an emergency situation. At about 12:30am the fire alarm went off. When we arrived at the front desk there was a lot of confusion. One of the staff was attempting to figure out the location of situation while the desk clerk seemed to be in panic mode versus attending to the guests who were gathering in the lobby. Granted these situations are scary, however, this situation should have been handled much differently than it did. We did make it out of the building and waited for fire personnel to arrive to give us the all clear. It is my understanding that the system detected an event in the p
