Customer Reviews
Spent three nights here between Christmas and New Years. With a choice of many hotels in The National Harbor, I'm glad we picked this one. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was modern and clean. The morning breakfast was reasonably priced and well stocked. The area around the hotel was safe and clean with plenty of food and drink choices within a short walk. We highly recommend the Hyatt Place - I'm sure we will be back one day.
Positive: The awesome upgrade to a suite free of charge and the lady at the front desk was very friendly Negative: Just wish they had a parking garage attached to the hotel. But it wasn?t to bad of a walk to the garage. Had a little trouble at the machine in the garage to pay to exit but then went to the machine next to it and got it to work.
The reason for 4 out of 5 stars was the check in process. The line was long, lobby full and slow. I believe I waited in line for 30 minutes for a room that was prepaid. The front desk concierge Queen was nice and had a smile; she did apologize and appreciated my patience. The room was 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the river. The room was clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again; just hope the check in process could go a bit smoother. We had to park across the street at the parking garage but it was pretty much a short walk to the hotel. The bed is so comfortable and the shower was relaxing. I am only staying one night but I am definitely chilling. Came in town from Baltimore to see Deon Cole at The Theater.
Great place. My only complaint is how thin the walls are! I can hear everyone. Above me, below and next to me. I prayed they would quiet down when I was ready for bed. And thank God it did but they woke me up early. You can hear almost everything. The bed super comfortable. Clean room. Well accessorized. Sucks no parking but the parking lot around the corner is $25 per day. Great location.
We haven’t quite checked out yet, but we’ve been extremely pleased with this stay. The service is exceptional. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We dined at the Bar Harbor restaurant and the food was very good. The location is very good and it’s an easy walk to the Capitol Wheel. Will definitely stay here again if we return here.
