Hyatt Place Miami Airport-West/Doral

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to restaurants and even a grocery store. It is not far from the airport and I believe even has an airport shuttle. The room we had was pretty spacious, however, the bathroom was a little small. The breakfast is plentiful but the scrambled eggs were a little cold each morning. We had some issues with housekeeping responses and was even told that they were shorthanded in that area. Our concerns were addressed as best as they could by the front desk people but it is not their job and they housekeeping woman we actually spoke to should have taken care of our concerns.

We stayed here twice. The first time we had a lizard on our wall and not all of the channels worked on the tv. I went to the front desk twice about it and someone was supposed to come fix it and no one ever showed up. We tried to give it a 2nd shot and the TV still didn't work. My husband went to the front desk this time they moved us. Same problem not all the channels are working. The tile is falling off the wall and the to it is cracked. Also the pool was ice cold. I will not be staying here again.

Clean, safe property. Friendly staff. Amazing mattress - best sleep at a hotel! If you are a coffee/tea drinker, hit the downstairs breakfast station earlier than later (before 8 AM). It gets quite busy.

I stayed with my family here. Breakfast was lacklustre with no eggs on our last day. Our room had no wifi, we had better access in the parking lot. They told us they would check on it with no update. Gym was very small with primarily cardio machines and free weights that went up to 25 pounds. I told them in the morning to reserve 2 pillows for us too pick up once we where back. That night they only had ‘one left’. Room was clean though and beds comfy. We did get a discount after complaining about our stay so customer service wasn’t the worst.
