Hyatt Place Miami Airport-East

I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place Miami Airport – East! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and professional. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly what I needed for a smooth and relaxing stay. I especially want to highlight Dominique at the front desk. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout my visit. You can tell she takes pride in her job — she handled everything with efficiency while still making the interaction feel warm and personal. It’s rare to come across someone so intentional and thorough in hospitality, and she truly set the tone for my entire experience. Because of team members like Dominique, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this location to anyone traveling through Miam

A great place to stay. Close to the airport and about 20-25 minutes from the Port of Miami. Very safe property and the staff is very friendly and consumer oriented. We only stayed on night, but would stay again and would love staying for an extended period of time. Facility offers independent shuttle service, they were a little late and slow.

I came here with my husband and my baby and it was honestly the best experience I have ever had. The free breakfast buffet was great with so many options made fresh. The room was so spacious and clean! They offered a free crib as well. The service was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is very close to the airport and there is a train that passes occasionally so there was a bit of noise but it is not as loud as you think. We escaped the horrors from La Quinta Inn, which was next door to this amazing hotel with pretty much the same price. Super safe, you need to buzz to get in the building or use your room card. The pool is well maintained with complimentary towels for swimmers! One thing is it is not very walkable outside the hotel so renting a car is a must to survive.

The front desk staff was rarely at their station. I had to wait 5-15 minutes each time I needed some assistance, they might want to implement a bell. I arrived at about 1:30pm, there were many people trying to check in before 3pm and there were no rooms ready. I finally was given a room around 2:15pm and it was extremely damp and had a moldy/mildew smell. This was continuous for the 2 nights I stayed. The hallway and room were very unkempt, the carpet was old and rippled and the entire place felt unclean. As far as location, you are very close to the airport because you can hear/feel planes taking off all day and night, but other than that, there are really no restaurants within a walkable distance. Very disappointing stay as a Hyatt loyalty member.
