Exceptionally well located. One of the most convenient aspects is that it has two entrances (on 42nd Street and another from inside Grand Central Terminal). Being able to access the hotel from both sides makes it incredibly practical, especially in New York where movement and timing matter. The property itself is massive. They clearly have the capacity to manage a large volume of guests at the same time without it feeling chaotic. It’s colosal in scale, yet surprisingly organized. There’s an exhibition in the lobby featuring the large “heads” sculptures by Jaume Plensa, which added an interesting artistic element to the space. It gave personality to what is otherwise a very minimalistic and highly functional environment. The design is clean and purposeful, from the décor to the layout o

I stayed at the Westin Grand Central for a day and service and cleanliness was below standard, so I moved to Hyatt Grand Central for 3 nights. The location was very convenient as it’s right at the top (adjacent) to the Grand Central station. The area was full of restaurants and tourists must visit places - Summit, Empire State Building, Time Square etc. In the hotel, there was a lounge on 16/F which was a good deal especially for a family as it offered continental bfast, snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks and its charged on a per room bases. The staff at the reception and the concierge were friendly and attentive with the usual Hyatt experiences. I will return in my next visit.

what a great hotel! The rooms were clean and modern and for New York they were really big. while. yes, the Little market inside is extraordinarily expensive, it has to be expected based on location and convenience factor. check-in was a breeze and some of the best doorman I have ever witnessed in my life. they were pleasant and gracious and were willing to go out into the middle of the street to stop traffic so that we could pull our car out. it was kind of wild how experienced these guys are and they made it a very impressive experience.

Very nice and fancy hotel. Decorated very nice for Christmas. Room was very nice and clean. Was hit with unexpected expenses during check in. Lady at check in (not the one that checked us in) counter was not personable or friendly. The men at the main entrance were all very friendly and helpful with setting up a ride to the airport after checkout. Market prices are insane. Get drinks and snacks somewhere else and bring them to your room. 2 bottled waters were $16.

Obviously a fantastic location, it can't be beat. So much around. Nice hotel, nice staff throughout the day. Nice rooms, spacious for New York standards. Nice front door security. Pleasant staff checked me in for my hotel room. My only complaint is very particular but it made enough of an impression on me to reduce the overall rating by one star. I woke up around 3 in the morning dying of thirst and had not bought any water bottles throughout the day or in the hotels market that closes at 11pm. I looked online to see if the hotel had vending machines. No information. I called the front desk at this time to ask where in the hotel I could get water. The answer was a singular refillable water fountain in the penthouse gym. I asked if there was any water bottles anywhere. None. Whoever I spok
