This time of year in December and January you can catch a lot of nice crappie along the river channel. The river runs up close to the Texas bank here and they've got two ramps that are in pretty good shape. Stay away from the south edge of the South ramp. When the water's low the concrete is broke off on that side.

My sister and I stayed here back when the motel portion was still operating, and we've been back many times since. I've been made aware that they are doing renovations and upgrading some aspects of their business which is why the motel and restaurant are currently closed and I can't wait to see what they do. I'm sure it will be great! ||This is a great place to come and take in nature and do some fishing because they are right off Toledo Bend Lake. Every RV spot they have has a great view of the lake and its very peaceful. They also have several events throughout the year where they host live music and vendors too and their 4th of July Fireworks show is awesome! ||If you're looking for a quiet, safe, family friendly place to go and kick back this is the place for you!

This restaurant is definitely a diamond in the rough. When you first pull-up to the establishment the building is rustic with old charm. This follows in to the restaurant. There are two areas of seating, a front and back. The back area over looks a part of the lake which has a variety of wildlife to look at while dining. There is a small wait for your food, even when busy but well worth it. Everything is flavorful and delicious! The onion rings were a big hit. They were crispy and yummy. Battered and seasoned just right. My brother and sister-in-law had burgers that were juicy and taste bud pleasers. I had pancakes, eggs and bacon. Pancakes were fluffy and grilled golden. The eggs and bacon also were yummy. We were equally impressed with the chief Jessica and waitress Lily. They were ple

It is an ok place. Food was good, but there isn’t a nice place to be with the family to swim. Grass was tall and it was muddy.
