It’s hard to find a winter review so here you go parents, if you are wondering like I was Pros It’s so empty in the winter, only 10 chalets. It was very warm inside the chalet. Only problem was splinters, everyone needs sandals. They have a coffee pot but no coffee. And fyi, no paper towel whatsoever. Everything else the cabin has from Utensils, pots, soap, lotion. Oddly enough, we didn’t pay for blankets and towels and still got them. Definitely bring your pillows Becuz they give you a sleigh, we went sledding around the whole property, how fun. Cons No service in the winter. No restaurant, camp store, nothing and they barely speak English on the phone. It’s hard to understand with their French accent. So bring everything you need food wise. You have to park your car in the parking lot a
Great location for outdoor enthusiasts. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Tents weren't quite as comfortable as ones I've stayed in previously but just fine for the little amount of time spent in them. Unfortunately, fellow campers were not respectful of quiet hours. I have a feeling this is due to it being "easy" camping or glamping and not people who knew how to behave. Earplugs will work fine in most situations.
My family just stayed at Huttopia White Mountains in their winter chalets and we had an excellent time. I was a little nervous as I think the site being open in winter is still relatively new, and I couldn't find many reviews for it. If you want to be secluded in the woods and have access to winter activities this location is great. The chalet is very cozy and they provide everything you need. We were worried it might get cold but I was completely wrong. Single digit temps outside and inside was nice and toasty. ||Pros|* There's only 10 chalets, so you won't see very many other people. We only saw other families in passing once or twice each day. |* Self check-in, so you can arrive anytime after their check-in time. You receive an email about an hour before check-in time with details abou
Not worth the price at all. We had to bring our own sheets, pillow cases and towels. We paid over $300 a night for one of their lake side tents. Sites very close together. Lake is not that nice. Inside the tent it feels as though your neighbors are in there with you, very loud, sounds like mutiple gun shots when the acorns fall on tent. Bathroom is nice to have but it is extremely small, you have to do a split to sit on toilet, I've never heard someone pee so loud as I was lying in bed, very echo-y. Outside fabric sling chairs are not comfortable, had holes in them. Will not be returning. Way to much money for what it is.
Great place for glamping! The staffs are amazing and so helpful!!! The views with a big lake to swim/paddle board and swimming pool was great. They also have grill outside so you can bbq easily, and a little restaurant and cafe is on site as well.
