Huntley Park

Quiet Gold Beach Port park by the Rouge River. Nice spots along the river no sewer. Water at outlets around park. Nice shower and lav facility. Wildlife along the river, egrets, eagles, blue herons, osprey. An occasional seal upriver from the mouth of the river and ocean. Nice metal firepits and picnic tables on each camp site. Firewood available to purchase. Great camp host!!! Going on approx 30 years staying here!! Only one electric hookup…good luck! First come first serve !!!

This is a beautiful park right off the Rogue River. Showers/bathrooms are really dirty and you will need quarters for the showers. There aren't any cement pads, it is dirt and grass. The river is literally right out your door though.

Midweek it is quiet and peaceful, on weekends it gets busy although the camp did not get rowdy at all. We stayed in the back of the park and thankfully it kept the forest vibe despite the front end becoming more like a tent city. The downside is the distance to the bathrooms, many of our fellow campers drove down to the facilities. We used a bike and that was very helpful. Not so great in the middle of the night. Easy access to the river and views of the jet boats each day.

Solid little campground about 7 miles from Gold Coast! Came here late September and saw a lot of gnats. However, the spots were pretty well kept, with more sunny and more shady spots. The main bathroom has both running water and coin showers, and no electric hookup (if that is something you look for, it's recommended to go to Secret Camp - they recommended here for us, with no need to have full hookup!!!)

This camp park was beautiful. The site's are big, well cleared and marked. If your wanting a nice shower and clean bathroom I wouldn't recommend this park. We were tent camping and were hoping for showers. We didn't have change, and host was "off duty". There was no change machine. If you'd like a cheap quiet place along the river this would be perfect for that. I would not camp here if I was camping in a tent or camper without a bathroom/shower.
