Wonderful little “mom and pop” feel KOA. Staff is super friendly no matter who is working the office, the best part is the little orange cat who sits in the office, or free roams when the weather is warm. We have seen him all 3 years we’ve visited. Easy check-in, clean, decently comfortable for the price- pet friendly! Definitely a peaceful, quiet place to relax in the winter months.

Multiple items stolen from my camper and near by sites (Yeti Cooler, Pelican Cooler, Turtlebox speaker). Management responded defensively, only to report it’s not their responsibility. When inquiring if they would inform future campers of thefts and encourage locked doors I was threatened with being banned from the campground in addition to all other guests I came with (5 sepetate campers). ||I Do not recommend camping here under current management!

Campground is nice and grounds are well kept. Lots of room to walk dogs. It is sandwiched between I64 & US 6 so there is highway noise and it carries at night. Be aware if you are coming in from the east, there is a very sharp right turn off US 6. (Almost a U-turn) Staff was very friendly. Store was well stocked. Bathrooms and showers need a deep cleaning. It looks like they do superficial cleaning of toilets and sinks, but floors had layers of dirt and showers were gross. Okay for an over night stop.

We've been camping at this campground for over a decade, and it used to be one of our favorite places to escape to as a family. Unfortunately, this most recent trip was by far the worst we've ever had, so much so that we left wondering if it was under new management. First, the banana bikes (always a fun highlight for the kids) were all broken except for four. Even worse, we weren’t allowed to rent those four that were still functional. This was a major disappointment, especially since the bikes have always been a staple of the experience here. Next, we went to grab a treat from the camp store, only to find that they were out of ice cream and the freezer completely removed. It may seem like a small thing, but little moments like these are what make camping trips special, and it felt like

I’m very disappointed to be writing this review, as my family and I have camped at the Huntington / Fox Fire KOA multiple times in the past and used to feel it was a safe, family-friendly campground. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was anything but. Safety: During our weekend stay, our cooler was stolen from underneath our camper. We later learned that our neighbors also had a cooler taken, and another camper down the row had an outdoor speaker stolen. When I reported this to management, I was told it was my fault for leaving the cooler outside and that the security cameras are only used to protect KOA property, not guests’ belongings. Customer Service: What ultimately led to this one-star review was how I was treated by the manager. When I called to ask if anyone could review the came
