Huntingdon Inn Motel

It is what it is. Its a low budget, older motel. The owner is very nice, and obviously updating the place by himself. The beds are firm, the bathrooms are adequate. I've stayed here quite a few times and I felt more safe being alone than I have at mid level hotels in the $150-200/range. I doubt the owner would give out the room number of a woman to a drunken out of state oil rigger for $$ *cough* Indiana pa *cough*

This is a very cool motel off the beaten track. The rooms have carport style parking where you can pull your car right up next to your room door and unload your trunk. The rates are very reasonable. They have very basic rooms for $50 and upgraded rooms for $70. I stayed in the $70 room. It was very clean and well maintained and well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. Maybe the parking lot is not in the best of shape but nothing's perfect. Highly recommended.

This was the most horrible mistake I ever made in staying at this location, the experience shall I hope to never have again in the near furture.|| First off if you book for this location and you book for a room at the rate of $55 you will get the most dirtiest room possible. Burns in the comforter, sheets stained, toenails etc etc moldy room smell. You will get sent to the back of the inn where it is a complete mess which looks like an abandon dump yard, you will not feel safe at all. No fridge or microwave the pictures are deceiving. When you do go to complain about the issues you will be charged $10's extra for an upgrade room which the owner calls nicest room not the cheap cheap room he has, these were his words. Pulled up at 3 am just looking for a few hours rest after a 10 hour drive. Place looked sketchy but figured to give it a try. Driving down to the room I for sure thought I'd get a flat. There was junk everywhere and clearly just thrown around property. When we arrived to room 20 it was like out of a horror movie!! The room was freezing, beer cans everywhere and stains on the sheet's. The lamp shades over bed had caked on dust. I literally walked in and walked out. I can't believe they are in business and how people can give them good ratings. Do yourself the favor and pay a little more for a good nights rest, otherwise you will probably get bed bugs and god knows what leaving this place. The only good thing I can say is the guy after putting up an argument and him going to the room himself

Room was very clean. Service desk was very helpful and friendly. Sure, it looks like it hadn't been renovated since the '70s, but the room was clean and serviceable, and very reasonably priced...I'd rather stay in a slightly dated motel for cheaper than give a one-star review for having not been needlessly renovated. If you want shiny and new, that's downtown, but it'll cost you a hundred more per night.
