Humboldt Hotels

I stayed there twice on this trip. The first time my reaction was that it was clean, delightful staff, seriously dated, but I've paid way more for a lot less. I'll gladly stay again. Just don't expect much from the "continental breakfast," unless coffee and a package of mini donuts will hold you over till lunch. This was when I was placed in the non-smoking side. The next time I was put in a non-smoking room on the smoking side of the building. It was horrible. Worst part was that the shower was 100% nonfunctional. When I complained, the clerk said there was nothing he could do, not even adjusting my fee. I'll never stay there again, and if you decide to stay here, STAY ON THE NON-SMOKING SIDE!

This place was super sketchy, my husband and I both slept with glocks next to our bed. The wallpaper was stapled in place, we counted 6 bullet holes in the bathroom, found mold in the bathroom, burn marks on the sheets and blankets and our door was missing the deadbolt. We unfortunately had to stay here and we made the best of it but I'll never stay there again!

Had to stay because of work. The ice sand snow was coming and had to have a place so I could make it in to work. Worst hotel ever. Fridge didn’t work. 3 half patched holes in tube mirror broke. Wallpaper stamped together. Door lock broke. Plug in Looked like it had been fried. And that’s not even looking for anything. Plus charged 70.00. Won’t ever stay in this crap whole again.

Not only when I went to check in, was the front desk man completely un welcoming and quite down rude, our room was absolutely disgusting. There was a horrible smell, the bed was gross and smelly and dirty looking, there was packing tape holding everything together including the wallpaper on the wall and tape keeping the toilet together. It wasn't even bolted to the ground. Couldn't even stay the night because I couldn't breath in there. There were nasty finger prints and filth everywhere.

The inn keeper was over all UN pleasant. We stayed twice my husband is put up there for his job. So I booked 2 separate nights one to go get my husband and one to take him back. Both times I got charged more than what I had a confirmation for and was told that the hotel didnt have online reservations. The first time we stayed the room was nice, but the second time we stayed we had a busted window and the room was not so nice. I told the inn keeper about the window and he was awfully rude and told me if I didnt like it to go somewhere else. If my husband wasnt staying in the Hotel for his company we would of stayed elsewhere.
