Hudson Valley Cabin

We've stayed here many times, and each time, it is magical. The perfect environment for couples to disconnect from their daily stresses and reconnect with each other. Secluded and rustic . The porch offers an amazing view of the pond. The row boat is fun anytime of year. The paths are clearly marked for hiking. Lay on the hammock next to the pond and just gaze at the stars while being serenaded by the wind chimes. The fireplace is everything. We bring our record player and favorite records to relax even more. Whenever we feel like we need to hit pause in our day to day to recharge we always head to this cabin.

This cozy cabin is a woodland paradise! We stayed for the weekend, and felt completely rejuvenated upon leaving. It's completely private, including the large pond behind the cabin. We enjoyed the on-site rowboat. Some of the wildlife we saw: hummingbirds, a muskrat, deer, garter snakes, one very large woodpecker, plenty of chipmunks, and a huge variety of birds. There's many walking trails. There's a gas grill on the property, as well as a stone BBQ. The cabin has cooking utensils, pans, condiments, plates, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven....literally almost anything you could ask for to make your stay comfortable! Karen the host is very welcoming and available for anything you may need. We are definitely looking forward to returning!
