Mr. Huckleberry hosted a Veteran’s event in 2025 & man, were we blown away by the hospitality, camaraderie, friendliness, the growth of the property, & most importantly, Mr. Huckleberry. One of a kind, U.S. Marine with lots of stories, great food, warmth, & he knows his way around the area! Highly recommend on every account!!! Thank you! And any thru-hikers: you’ll have a grand time here & probably take a 0 or 7 zeroes. The Knob is a sight to behold & the whole place is fun. Thank you, again! Semper Fi

I had the pleasure of staying at Huckleberry’s Hostel with my family. If you are in the area and are hiking the triple crown or need to hike on the AT trail- stay with Huckleberry. They have a fire pit, shower and an great place to hang out and talk about your adventures.you might even have more items added to your bucketlist. He even will shuttle you to and from the trailhead.

My wife and I spent a couple nights here while hiking Triple Crown Loop. Huck makes a delicious stew and some amazing bread. The environment was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area. Huck is very knowledgeable when it comes to the trails having done it himself. We will be back.

This is a great spot to be able to stop and rest along your travels. Our group stayed for several nights to enjoy day hikes. We met amazing people. Huckleberry is kind and generous. He truly made us feel at home. Wyatt the Wonderdog made the experience that much better❤️

This hostel is fantastic! Clean bunkhouse, reliable shuttle service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The all you can eat pancake breakfast was delicious too. Huckleberry is one of the coolest people on the planet. I highly recommend a stay here, you’ll feel right at home!
