HTR Door County Campground and RV Resort

HTR is a nice campground, this was a first time to door county. Sites are wooded towards the back where the fire rings are which is nice. We didn’t spend much time there. We stayed at site 31, it’s pretty close to level there is a stump on that site that is in the way of backing up the camper. Next time we will plan on sites 27-30

We own a travel trailer, but didn't want to drive 5 hours with it, so we booked the "glamping" unit - it worked out great. Perfect location for a great Door County visit! It was nice to have a quiet campfire at the end of the busy days, something you can't get by staying in a hotel.

HTR Outdoors is a fantastic spot for a getaway! The facility is well-maintained, with spotless bathrooms and showers that make camping feel luxurious. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Our A-frame cabin was perfect—cozy, clean, and just the right size for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in comfort! Close to all the fun activities including cherry picking, beaches, food, and fun parks.

They gave us a unit right next to the highway (136). Not a good move on their part. It was our 1st time visiting and we found out from the nice people in unit 103 that when they went to go check in, they were going to give them number 136, but then immediately told them “oh! That’s by the highway, we will give you unit 103! After driving through the campground, there were at least 5 other cottage units that were not being used at all AWAY from the highway. What gives HTR? Why would you KNOWINGLY put someone near a loud highway when you have the opportunity to place them in a quieter section of your campground? That’s just poor management. ||DON’T put your initials on the paperwork when you check in at the office unless you agree. One says you allow them to take pictures of you and another

We absolutely love the cleanliness and how well kept the facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mostly the location can't be beat! We are close enough to everything we like to do while still feeling tucked away in the woods when we're at our camper.
