Hotel Vernon

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Vernon Hotel. This place has been perfect for my stay. As someone who lives month-to-month on the road for work, I’ve stayed in just about every hotel around Childress, Vernon, and Quanah—and most of them take advantage of the fact that you don’t have many options. Rates get jacked up, service drops off, and you’re lucky to get the bare minimum. That is not the case here. From the office management to the people you meet walking through the parking lot, everyone is respectful, welcoming, and professional. The staff in the office are amazing and genuinely helpful—something you don’t see often anymore. Had a great experience here. I left my keys behind here for about 2 months and came back to get them and they were still here! Would definitely recommend this hotel because of it’s affordability and location as well.

The gentleman on our check in day 11/23 was very accommodating, but every interaction with the staff there after was less than desirable. Our first morning breakfast was put away almost a full hour before it should have been. We had 8 people for 2 rooms. Everything we asked for towels or toilet paper it was a hassle. Of the four nights we were there, we only had maid service once. I do not recommend this place for longer than 1 night if you can help it..

This place is not the best it looks nice but their are roaches and the staff is terrible

Easy check in and check out. Ruth was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, respectful employee. Easy access off 287 South. The room was clean. Plenty of hot water and pressure to shower. It's not a five star motel but clean and comfortable for a stay when passing through.
