Customer Reviews
This is a very nice little motel. Run by a local small business person. I saw some of the other reviews and was apprehensive about cleanliness and so forth. Asked the owner at the front desk before handing over my credit card if I could please see the room first. Newly refurbished, perfectly clean, had a small refrigerator, a small table with 2 chairs, Direct with flat screen.....looked very nice. There was no second door connected to some back hallway. Just a nice clean well appointed room that was newly refurbished. I recommend this motel. Very nice with a nice owner making their way in the world as a small businessperson.
My boyfriend and i are rock hounds. Mid-August we stayed one night. This was close to so many locations we wanted to explore. The manager was very sweet and helpful. Rooms are incredible clean though slightly outdated (nostalgic). I love having a screen door. Bed was very comfortable. Shower had great pressure. Room was totally soundproof. These are non-smoking rooms. But there are benches and ash containers for smokers as me. I am not a good sleeper. It was nice to sit outside and watch the stars. The price is perfect. I promised the manager we would be back. Well, headed out Monday morning and spending two nights. ~Kiz
First time staying here, wasn’t sure what to expect. The owner was wonderful! She was helpful, considerate, and it definitely showed that she cared about her customers and their experience at her motel. The room was spacious, included a microwave and mini fridge, very clean, fresh linens day of customer arrival, and comfortable. The wall decor was older, but furniture was comfy, and floors were nice enough I felt comfortable barefoot in room. I will definitely be a repeat customer at this cozy motel.
Was excited when I read the reviews. Check in went smoothly. But the minute we entered the room my feelings changed. The chairs were filthy. I looked for extra towels to place on them but of course there were only 2 towels. In looking under the sink for extras I discovered a partially eaten PBJ sandwich. There was a door that was unlocked that said it was for housekeeping use. I opened it, thinking perhaps a linen closet. No, it was some type of service room that ran the entire length of the motel. I locked the door on our side but felt uneasy about their access. There was a huge cobweb in the corner of the room. If I could I would give it 0 stars.
The room is very sweet and basic. There were some hairs and cleaning supplies like a vacuum, mop, rags and cleaning chemicals left in the room. And the beds weren’t made but I’m not picky. Its a nice stay.
