Hotel Plantation Pineville - Alexandria I-49

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel and would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere. First off, the pool was completely unacceptable. The water was brown and visibly filthy—definitely not something anyone should be swimming in. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, which immediately made me question the overall hygiene of the place. The front desk staff were no better. They were rude, dismissive, and acted like helping guests was an inconvenience. Any time I asked a question, I was met with attitude instead of assistance. The room itself was outdated and worn down. We stayed here on the night of 3/15/2026 for only one hour and it was a terrible experience. The fire alarm system is known to be faulty and the hotel has done nothing about it, during the time we were there it went of three and once before we got there. We had to leave and go to a different hotel because I have a sibling with epilepsy who can not be exposed to the flashing lights and loud noises of fire alarms without a significant risk of them having a seizure. We have requested a refund and they have not given us one, and are hanging up on us whenever call them. Do not under any circumstance stay here. For more information please look at reviews from when they were the country inn and suites. For at least seven months (based on past reviews) they have had a problem with their fire alarms going off for no reason. This happened three times in the hour we were at the hotel the night we tried to stay and because we have children who need to sleep we had to leave. We were not given a refund, were told we would be given a refund but the owner, Victor Patel, had to do it himself and he was not in. We were told to call back when he was. Now they just hang up when I call. Even if the hotel did not have broken fire alarms and a disregard for basic human decency, the first floor rooms clearly have extensive visible flood damage and smell as such.
