Hotel Mariposa Los Angeles

This hotel is wonderful. The staff is extremely nice and friendly! The rooms are clean and they have a fridge and microwave in the room. My only complaint would be the amount of parking spaces. Parking is $25 and there is about 20 spaces in the garage. The garage is usually full at night forcing you to park on the street and having to move your car in the morning. This hotel needs more garage parking spaces. Everything else was wonderful and I will be back!

Positive: The locating is great and the newness of the hotel is evident! Nice comfy bed. Negative: The water pressure could be better. I could hear the guests upstairs walking...very loudly. My view was of a wall... would have been nice to be told that and offer another option. Front desk isn't always there to help.

I stayed at Mariposa in October 2025 for business and had a great experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and feels very safe. Rooms were spacious, quiet, and well-kept, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient to studios, restaurants and LA without being in the middle of the chaos. Would definitely stay here again — it’s a solid boutique hotel option if you want something comfortable, updated, and low-key in the Valley.

The hotel was a pleasant stay overall. The exterior and building were well maintained, and the outdoor patio near the lobby was a really nice space. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. One layout issue was the TV, which would benefit from a movable bracket since it wasn’t visible from the desk area in my room. The tub and shower also had a very large step up, higher than average, which is something to be aware of. Drinks were reasonably priced, but snack options were very limited. Breakfast items were available for purchase, though there were no lunch or evening food options on site. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more enjoyable. A dedicated loading and unloading area at the front of the hotel would also help with arrivals and departures. For Univ
