Hotel Léger Restaurant & Bar

Friday night for dinner with friends. Not busy. Terrible service and cold indoor seating. Took over a hour to get our dinner after ordering . They were out of published menu side dishes ( how does a restaurant run out of potatoes???) and had to substitute for something that we didn’t want. No follow up to check if our food was ‘ok’ or if we waned desert. Overpriced. Bad 1st experience and no reason to go back.

They have newly refurbished that still hold that antique class about them. Their service how's that small town vibe. Location is easily accessible right on the main strip of town. their food is worth going for. try the brussel sprouts you won't regret it.

You have to try their brisket "cheesesteak"—it's really a gourmet brisket sandwich that is miles better than any fast-food version. The spicy chicken sandwich is also seriously next-level! While the atmosphere is a little heavy on the bar vibe, the waiters were sweet and attentive. If you're hungry nearby, this is the only really good food option over the local deli, winery, or greasy spoon. The restaurant really should have its own listing. Oh, and if the owners read this, please open for breakfast so us locals have a place to go without leaving the area.

Our stay at this hotel was cozy, quaint & perfect. Rooms 11 & 13 had comfy beds and balcony access through the windows. So charming! Each room was so unique & I loved the old cast iron bathtub for a hot soak after a busy weekend! I want to go back & stay in #2 and try the Walloon and restaurant. The town was so quiet Monday morning, so I wandered next store to Moke-A-Java for a coffee, danish and some taffy and nuts to go. Truly an awesome old timey experience!

Best Chicken Alfredo I've ever had !!! My favorite place to eat in amador county. If you haven't been here in awhile go check it out you will not be disappointed. New owners new food
