Hotel Lazy T

Quiet, cozy, and peaceful are the best words to describe this place. It also has great history imbedded into the decor. Close enough to a long list of places and things to do. We went to the following places while we stayed Dinosaurs in Seymour, Copper Brake State Park, Medicine Mounds in Medicine Mound Texas and Caprock State Park. Are all amazing places. If we are ever back up this way or know someone this place is #1 in my opinion.

This hotel is like stepping back in time yet with modern conveniences. Each time we’re here the place gets better. Great current owner who is related to the original owner. The Lazy-T is extremely comfortable and has several rooms. We enjoy every time we’re here.

We had the best time here celebrating our 50th anniversary! The host went out of her way to give us a lovely experience in this fun, comfortable, vintage hotel. We will definitely come back!

With all hotels in the area fully booked, we gave the Lazy T a call. Donna was friendly, helpful, and kind in arranging a last minute reservation. The house is well-kept and full of interesting history. The room was a good size and very clean, as was the bathroom. While it wasn’t a planned stay, we were pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend for other travelers. Much better than chain hotels!
