Hotel Huntington

My start experience was a little shakey, but Mario was very understanding, professional & accommodating. Great customer service Mario and thank you. This is what will bring me back. The location was near enough to restaurants, shopping, parks, walking trails etc. but removed from the traffic of Arcadia, & Pasadena. My room was on the first level facing the pool, very clean, my feet didn't get dirty when I walked barefoot and the room was nice & clean, beds were firm. The bathroom clean & updated enough for me. Large walk in shower and a lot of lighting. The parking lot very well lit too, I felt very safe, no transients either. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk lady probably had a long day, it was 5:30 PM. There was no warm welcome. A big sign behind her “WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE”. Okay, I got it. Don’t expect service, so you won’t get disappointed. The good thing was the bed was very comfortable. We had a good night sleep, and that’s all it counts!

They list a hot tub as one of the amenities they offer. It is not a hot tub, it is a barely warm tub. We gave it 15 minutes hoping it would warm up before we were so cold we went back to our room. The staff was apologetic, one of them telling me they often have issues with the hot tub. The manager basically said he doesn’t care, refused to offer any compensation and doesn’t care that I could be a repeat customer because I have to be at City of Hope every other week and sometimes have to stay nearby if I have early appointments. So he doesn’t care about his customers at all, and cares even less for a potentially repeat customer, who is a cancer patient who just wanted to relax in a hot tub the day before a full day of treatment. I would highly recommend staying anywhere else unless all you

I have stayed here before and all was ok. This time, there was no hot water, only barely tepid, even if water left running 10 mons. Mattress did not fit bed frame, so the bed frame corner stuck oit, a possible fall hazard. Sink area had no towel bar, kleenex or wastebasket. Mismatched furniture. Headboard fabric peeling away.
