Hotel Grand Victorian

Walked into beautiful Victorian style w warm Christmas decor- piano playing music in lobby. Place is a vibe, nestled on a hill w a mountainous view. Room was large, comfortable bed, was able to enjoy the hot tub/ pool. Hot tub was actually hot, as was breakfast. Shout out to Don at the front desk who greeted me w warmth and humor upon arrival. Place has soul, unlike most sterile hotels. Recommend for families too- fun arcade room.

We have stayed at this Hotel several times in the past years. We travel with our small 11 lb. dog and they are amazing with the accommodations for her. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We look forward to staying there again. The only thing I would ask from the Hotel kitchen is could we get biscuits and gravy more? But we do like their Breakfast buffet is good and very filling! I love it that they have coffee and hot chocolate there all day long especialy in the cold weather! We would recommend this Hotel to everyone! You can walk to a lot of close attractions.

I pretty much knew when I walked into this Hotel that we wouldn't be able to stay as it's very scented & I'm allergic to scents. We needed to keep the window in our room open. ||We had a delayed start from our home & had spoken to the Night Audit person the night before when she called to obtain our payment for an 8 night stay. When we arrived @ 3:00 A. M. after a 12 hour drive we got a long story from her that she wasn't going to call us twice since we had spoken the night before & if we weren't there by the end of her shift she was going to cancel our reservation & refund our money. When I questioned if we still had a room, she said yes, & repeated her story again. I didn't think that I needed to worry about not having our room after paying for an 8 night stay. It was just ok. The hotel and the lobby are beautiful. The employees are tremendous. The balcony in the room is a nice touch. The actual rooms are very dated. The bathroom had hair in the tub and it needed quite a bit of TLC.
