Hotel Dylan

Hotel Dylan is the perfect place to rest and truly unwind. The location feels peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to enjoy everything Woodstock has to offer. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and full of character. I especially love the record players, such a cool touch that makes the stay feel cozy and unique. The staff is consistently kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. This is my third year spending my birthday weekend here, and it has become a special tradition for us. Every stay feels unforgettable. I already look forward to coming back next year.

My fiance and I came to Woodstock for a night to pick up a car I had purchased in Catskill. I booked Hotel Dylan for their reasonable prices and great reviews. It can always be nerve wracking booking a hotel you've never been to before, but this did nothing but exceed my expectations. Hotel staff is super nice. I really appreciated a call from George to let us know that the lobby was closing and made sure we knew were our room was. Rooms are super clean and tastefully decorated with a fun record player to listen to some tunes on. We stayed in the Joplin room - just for reference. Even their locally soured in-room snacks (for purchase) were awesome! All in all, awesome experience and we will be back! Can't go wrong staying here. 5 Stars all around! Thank you!

This is an overdue review. We stayed at Hotel Dylan for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The whole experience was wonderful. The hotel feels more motel-ish and is conveniently located just outside downtown Woodstock. The room was immaculate and the beds very comfortable with superior bedding and upscale amenities. There was even a record player in the room with albums from the 60s which was a cool touch. The prevailing theme throughout the hotel to rock stars of the Woodstock era is done with taste and style. We ate a delicious Mexican meal at the restaurant on the premises. The owner of Hotel Dylan, Daryl, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. On our first night, he and musician friends were jamming in the lobby and it made for a super enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Dylan for one night, December 20-21, 2025. We have been wanting to stay at the Hotel Dylan since this 1960s motel was renovated a few years ago. We both love music, Woodstock, and retro. I have a brother who lives nearby in Saugerties and we were going to attend his surprise birthday party, and here was the perfect opportunity to finally book a stay at Hotel Dylan. We stayed in a West King Room, “The Deadhead” room. It was pristine and comfortable. The adorable brown paper bag with a VW Bus stamp Peace Love Stay, containing goodies to make s’mores was a sweet warm touch. Hotel Dylan met expectations while we were visiting the Woodstock area. Daryl was super welcoming and helpful getting us all settled in. His pups were so cute. We were happy it was pet friendly and brought our own dog. We loved that our stay came with a little s’mores kit. We even received a dog ball and Hotel Dylan charm for our pup. Be sure to bring your own dog bed if bringing a pup as there’s not one that comes in the room. We stayed in the Cocker room which was the bottom floor right by the parking lot. It was clean and spacious with a large bathroom. The walls are thin and it was a little noisy in the morning and night- you could definitely hear everyone stomping around upstairs so request a top floor if that bothers you.
