Hotel Avenida Victorville I 15

The owner was an intelligent and polite Man. In the smaller hotel motel life sort to speak, it's not that easy to come across people who care about the business. That's why so many smaller places don't make it past 2-4 years. It is nice to see people who care about other people in general.

Terrible service from the receptionist, abusive and arrogant... We made a reservation via Booking. He tried to overcharge us even knowing that it was already paid. The receptionist said to us "there is an extra charge, that's my price, take it or leave it," and without waiting for a response, he looks into his computer snd said: I'm going to cancel it and told us to leave. Turns around and walks away. Cero customer service. What's worts: I top of, we paid and the hotel hasn't returned my money. Note: we got the refound after all, unfortunately that doesn't change the bad experience...

got to the front desk and was told they dont work with capital one, entered my name wrong either on purpose or failed ragebait. After a call with capital one travel support they told me they tried to call the hotel to see what was going on, but the manager decided to not answer the phone, after the support team told me that and that i should try to check in again the manager got mad and started cursing at me and threw me the middle finger after i told him that the support team was trying to get a hold of him. (would give a 0 star if i could)

Apparently my review was taken down. My husband and I booked a room through Airbnb at this hotel. The check in staff was very rude. She asked several times about pets and guest we told her we didn't have any, she then asked for a $50 dlls deposit and stated she would give it to us "tomorrow" when she verified we had no guest or pets. The room was disgusting!! The bed had hair on it, the door was stained with lipstick and it was in poor conditions, the water in the shower went from cold to burning hot, the towels had "brown stains" there we're lots of foot traffic and its in a dangerous area. The next day we went to inquire about our deposit and were told 4-5 business days. I have contacted Airbnb and requested partial payment back due to lack of communication, unclean room and rudeness. I

Plus: This is a good, clean, classic highway motel. Check-in went smoothly and the desk clerk was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, of good size. The bed was super-comfortable, so I had a good night's sleep!The hotel is in Victorville a small city in California's "High Desert", which is known as a way-point on the famous "Route 66" which many decades ago was the major road connecting America's mid-west to its far west. Victorville is also the home town of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans who had a famous cowboy TV show long ago.Minus: Lots of highway noise. But the most negative thing about the motel is that it is impossible to contact the hotel itself by telephone to confirm issues such as late arrival.
