Hotchkiss Inn

What a gem of a hotel nestled in a convenient location for weary travelers! The room accommodations are modernized, very clean and well maintained. I woke up to beautiful mountain views I soaked in as I enjoyed my breakfast. Staff was incredibly kind, welcoming and ready to help. As a solo traveler I felt safe and welcomed. 10/10 will stay here again!

Very solid inn on the edge of town. Much of the room was recently redone though some of the furniture looked original - especially a heavily stained bench, which detracted from other elements. Beds are comfortable enough; I've slept on better and slept on worse. The new blue towels were a nice touch. Breakfast is about what you might expect. However, some of the best breakfast burritos we've ever eaten were a stone's throw down the road at the Farm Stand store next to City Market. There were few guests during our stay but I would expect one would hear some noise from rooms and doors and corridor footsteps based on our limited experience.

This motel was an unexpected pleasure. The newly decorated rooms are tasteful. The motel amenities are first class, lovely toiletries, great breakfast, and friendly staff. It far exceeded the other motels we stayed in during our trip to the western slope. ||The only recommendation I would make is to have additional electrical outlets. I use a concentrator at night and had to plug it into the bathroom outlet. ||I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Extremely clean, well kept rooms with an updated, remodeled feel. All toiletries and supplies fully stocked. Staff were pleasant and kind. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Inn for two nights while I visited the north rim of Black Canyon at Gunnison National Park. The manager, Frank, was very friendly, informative and helpful. The rooms are recently renovated and well appointed for an Inn. They were clean and well maintained. The Inn was booked out for the two nights with workers from the local mine. A good breakfast is served in the lobby. Each morning, Frank came out to check on me at breakfast to find out about my stay.
