Horseshoe Recreation and Campground Area

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with this park. The roads are a little bit narrow and steep coming in and out, but well worth the trouble. The grounds were meticulously kept. The site was beautiful. The only thing we would have added were showers , but the bathroom facilities were spotless. The campground hosts were undoubtedly the best hosts we've ever met. Thank you Horseshoe Recreation Area, for the great experience.

My kids went to summer camp here and loved it! Highly recommend it! Update my kids have been here 2 years in a row and they had a blast! It's nice to be able to drop them off for a week and then have a great time meet great friends and mom and dad. Not worry if they're safe! Also, it's a great time for digital downtime! No cell phones, no internet, just good old-fashioned nature!

Its a beautiful place. The camp host insists i give her the cash for a camp spot instead of putting the cash in the bin box next to envelopes. I felt the host was going to pocket the cash. This was in July 2025

The campground was nice it was lovely we were the only ones there. Super well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless! Cant wait to come back.

Absolutely magical. This place is beautiful to camp at. Sites are nice, shaded and large. The creek is clean and great to swim in. The camp host are wonderful. This place is a little slice of heaven.
