Wow! Simply wow! Friendly check-in was EVERYTHING! My site needs were more than accommodated and the office/store was immaculate! Did use the restrooms, but cannot imagine they fell short of spectacular. Super easy on/off the highway and even though it is close to the HWY it was still quiet and tucked into a wooded backdrop. Beautiful looking sites, covered wagons, tree houses, and cabins! Will definitely stay here again if it’s on my route!
This was a very nice KOA. I wanted to stay in one of the covered wagons and I am so glad we did. It was a great experience. The owners of the KOA- I think were rather new -but they were doing a fine job. The wagons were stellar. The set up was great, parking area, firepit, grill and a cemented area. Even the view was nice. It was overlooking a field. Although the place was close to the interstate it wasn't too bad with noise. The bathrooms were really great. Loved the space in each bath/ shower stall. These were also very clean. I saw they also had some "treehouses and teepees", maybe I will check those out one day as well!
My family had a great time. My kids loved the jumping pillow and the fishing pond. But the view from the covered wagons and the bunkhouse are spectacular. We loved sitting by the fire pit watching the sun go down. The bathrooms were so nice. I'm glad we were on the back side, the front side had a lot of freeway sounds
We pulled into our site around midnight and found our site to be small and full of ruts from water run off with no barrier to stop us from going over the edge. The back of our camper hung over a 30foot drop. We started auto leveling and site was so soft and un level our jack slipped off blocks and bent. We asked at the office the next day to switch sites but were told none were available, even though the campground was not even close to full. Our next trip was a level paved site; same thing happened with the jack. We had our camper looked at and found the entire frame was bent, no doubt from the initial bending of the jack. We’re having insurance investigate our options so we will be advised on how to proceed with this. So disappointed that an unkept site caused this. Road noise was exces
We went in after a long day of traveling, nice park, polite people. My only problem was the Wi-Fi was unsecured and would not connect to the Internet on any of my devices. After a long day of travel, you would like to sit down, relax and catch up on things on TV. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen because the Wi-Fi is unsecured. This is the only KOA we have ever been in. That has Wi-Fi set up like this. I think this needs to be looked at!
