Hope and Glory Inn

We visited Hope and Glory for a brief getaway. While the weather didn't exactly cooperate, our stay was delightful. Peggy and Dudley Patteson are exceptional hosts, greeting us by name and catering to our every need throughout our stay. Our cabin was lovely - comfortable, clean and cozy. We requested latte's for breakfast and Peggy came through, offering to serve us breakfast in the Inn instead of delivering to our cabin as is the usual process. We also enjoyed dinner at The Colonnade in the beautiful lobby of Hope and Glory. We would definitely recommend this lovely Inn.

My wife and I recently returned from a lovely stay at the Hope and Glory Inn, and quite honestly, we look forward to our next visit.||The owners (Peggy and Dudley) were simply perfect hosts. We've stayed at our share of B&Bs and we've had enough less-than-perfect hosts to know the difference. Welcoming without being intrusive and experienced and wise enough to recognize the needs of their guests, the owners are exemplary hosts. They were accommodating, generous, and helpful, whether it was Dudley delivering breakfast every morning with a smile and good cheer or Peggy providing us perfect cocktails and conversation, we never felt like a burden or a simple customer. We've visited The Hope & Glory several times and we keep coming back because of the incomparable hospitality. Peggy & Dudley are the greatest hosts; they greet us like favorite members of the family. Meseret is not only an accomplished chef but a truly wonderful person we are always so happy to see. Heather is equally fantastic in taking care of anything and everything we may need always with a smile. And the accommodations set the standard for comfort and relaxation. We took a last-minute trip to Irvington on our way to northern Virginia. We called the Hope & Glory Inn the day before and they were very welcoming and happy to accommodate us! It was a most pleasurable and relaxing experience. The owners, Peggy and Dudley, are exceptional hosts and made us feel as though we were in our own home. Highly recommend the Hope & Glory Inn!!

If you're looking for genuine southern hospitality Hope & Glory is it! Peggy and Dudley are hands on and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The cottages are cozy and each one has it's own unique furnishings. The breakfasts delivered to your door are homemade and a great way to start your day. The staff go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The salt water pool is always in perfect condition and provides a good place to get a little sun. Evening dinner at the Colonnade is very special. Chef Meseret's dinners are a foodies delight and Heather pairs the perfect wines with each course. Hope & Glory is truly a gem in Irvington.
