Kristina, and I had such a wonderful stay at Hank’s place. He is truly a fantastic host — kind, responsive, and thoughtful. This cottage is beautiful with a lot of privacy. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and easy. The atmosphere of the property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, well cared for, and the kind of place where you immediately relax. You can tell real pride and attention to detail go into maintaining it. It had everything we needed (and more) to feel comfortable and at home. If you’re looking for a place that blends charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality, this is it. We’re so grateful for the stay and would absolutely come back. Mahalo, Hank!

The private cottage is a Paradise Found! Absolutely everything you need surrounded in a lush, topical garden of exotic flora, fauna and bird songs. Sitting on the ocean view deck having morning tea, sun shining is the most relaxing gorgeous experience in a traditional aloha ambience. We loved being apart from the hustle of the tourists yet close to many beaches, waterfalls, eco garden walks and a village for supplies. We are planning our next trip to return here every year. Hank is beyond great! Love, Loved it 🌴

If you want to stay out away from the crowds in a secluded little cottage where the local live, this place is for you! Hank, provided fresh from the trees organic oranges (think fresh squeezed OJ every morning), lemons (we made some homemade lemonade—the best), sweet bananas, tangerines, oh my! Every day was filled with fresh! Loved the outdoor tub and showers. Hank made sure we knew we could call him for anything if needed. He stayed in touch, but not intrusive. We enjoyed sunsets on the wraparound porch, and enjoyed all the info Hank provided on nearby shopping and grocery. We love supporting the local. Words cannot describe how amazing this place is…book today, you will not regret it. Best vacation ever!

If you want a cozy private cottage away from the frenzied noisy pace of Wailea, this is the place! Hank's passion for tropical landscaping and his tasteful appointments in the cottage makes this a beautiful, tranquil hideaway. You won't want to leave!

My absolute happy place now to years in a row. So comfortable, so peaceful and Hank is a most caring host. The location is perfect and the view from the wrap around porch is stunningly beautiful. I so look forward to having breakfast in the porch listening to the symphony of nature’s glorious sounds. I highly praise this incredible place but please don’t grab my week next year. Mahalo Hank.
