Hood's Motel

This is a very clean quiet motel with a great restaurant next door. I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights during my 34 hour break as a trucker.My room was impressively & immaculately clean. The king size bed & pillows very comfortable. The lounge chair was an unexpected surprise I took advantage of to relax as I watched a couple movies. Excellent stay & a value at $73 a night.

This hotel is an oasis just off I-44 exit 61 in MO. Spacious immaculately clean rooms with plenty of parking. A fantastic restaurant & convenience store a short walk away. Mechanics also on duty should you require one. Rates are very reasonable $$ compared to others in the area.

I've stayed here several times. I love the water pressure. Some rooms seem dark and closed in because of it others are nice and lighter. Some have walk in shower and others have tubs. The bathmat needs to be with the plastic mat I almost slipped when I got out and had to go look for the bathmat so I didn't feel like I was falling. I've had to have surgery on my shoulder and wrist because of falls. It's very scary thinking I was gonna fall again. No handles in bathroom to help either. It's a good location. They have a laundry across the way behind the 66. There's a tire shop, a truck stop a convenience store and restaurant all in walking distance.

I'm a truck driver and have stayed at the truck stop several times. I was in a day cab and needed a place to do my 10hr break. Great old-school motel, they even use real keys. The room was spotless, comfortable king-size bed. I will definitely stay there again if the need arises.

A five star motel has nothing over this motel, Best motel room I have ever been in, the shower is off the chain highly very highly recommended. Here’s the kicker American owned and operated I give it a five star
