Honey Run Beach & Campgrounds

My wife and I (75 years old) and sometimes our adult children with their families have used Honey Run every couple year for the last 15 years. On June 13, 2025, I called and reserved a deluxe cabin for seven days starting July 31st. We decided to drive to Maine instead of pulling out trailer. I sent the new owners a check the following day so they would be comfortable with the check clearing before we arrived. When we arrived, they gave us cabin #49. To say the least this cabin was absolutely horrid. It had bare stud walls, Homemade bunkbeds where the full-size mattresses were too small for what was built. dead bugs in the light fixture globe, bathroom was so small my feet would not fit between toilet and wall, blind on door was old dirty and broken, front window had no blind and had to be

Quiet, affordable, and cleanest campground bathrooms we have ever experience. Very easy process to check-in, check-out, and the camp store has essentials like ice, propane for cooking, and other odd and ends. Will come back again! Our only complaint is that the dryers do not work that well and you typically have to run it through twice.

We had a great weekend at Honey Run. The check-in was smooth, and you could tell the owner was genuinely happy to have us. Our little cabin was adorable and clean. It had everything we needed from a coffee pot, little fridge, microwave, utensils (even a can opener) and dishes. The grounds are lovely and neat...very well maintained. We had family visit us while we were there and they all received the same warm greeting from the owners. Our grandchildren loved the pond and had so much fun on the playground. They Honey Run staff were very helpful with any questions we had. We were grateful they are a dog friendly campground so we could bring our aging pup (who also had a great time). We met a few of the seasonal campers and they were all friendly, you can feel the sense of community w

The campground and it's new owners are fantastic. Took my family here last weekend and had a blast even with some inclimate weather. It was quiet, people were friendly, and my kids loved running around the park. We'll be back! The owners are dedicated to making it better and better, I'm excited to see it grow

I cannot stop talking about the relaxation we had at your campground! The peacefulness that surrounds your campground was breathtaking, we camp a lot! My family lives in the area and we never could find a decent place to stay and this is it!! Cannot wait to come back next year for a longer time we only stayed 4 nights! Again thank you and we cannot wait to see what else is in store!
